BSFA eligibility for Ghost Moth Authors
What are the BSFAs?
Every year, the British Science Fiction Association (or BSFA) give awards for speculative fiction, poetry, art and more. Prizes are given at the annual awards ceremony, usually during their annual convention, Eastercon. 2023’s Eastercon is named “Conversation” and will be taking place in Birmingham, UK.
Our authors have some eligible works from our press and other publishers! Please feel free to suggest them, even if you are not a BSFA member here by adding them to the spreadsheet here. And if you are a BSFA member, please vote for them by filling in the form here.
Many thanks!
Cat Hellisen (C.L. Hellisen)
Thief Mage, Beggar Mage
Tet is no longer a priest-mage; thrown out from his temple and cursed by his gods to return a stolen relic. With every passing year, the curse works deeper into his flesh, breaking and twisting him until finally, driven by pain, Tet makes a drastic play to escape the gods.
His luck turns sour, and the escape costs him his soul, drawing his death even closer when he is captured by the despotic White Prince. In order to escape the prince, retrieve his soul and break the curse, Tet must form a fragile alliance with a man he cannot trust. An alliance made brittle by lies and deception; one that may take his heart as well as his soul.

I Will Sing Your White Bones Home
“We cannot go landwise. Too vulnerable for a start, and the finless watch their beaches like crabs, scuttling this way and that, their eyes pinched and ugly. They have set a line of posts on the edge of the world, deep in the sands. Each spike bears the head of one of our risen. We do not care. The risen have gone to the Great Water where they will fish and fight for all eternity.”
